Following an external audit RSOH have been re accredited to ISO14001:2004 in respect of our environmental management systems.
Annual independent external audit forms an important part of the HSEQ management systems of RSOH which have been accredited to ISO9001:2008 in respect of quality management systems, standards and guidelines, ISO14001:2004 in respect of environmental management systems and OHSAS18001:2007 in respect of occupational health and safety management systems, standards and guidelines.
RSOH gained their initial external accreditation, ISO9001:2000, in June 2007 and this was updated to ISO9001:2008 in August 2009. In September 2007 and March 2008 we gained accreditation of our occupational health and safety and environmental management systems.
Gaining these accreditations has been an important step forward as it has brought all systems, processes and procedures together in one management system as an aid to clinical governance and effective management of our operation. Feedback from clients has highlighted the importance of quality assurance and in particular has made clients tendering processes easier as they are able to confirm their occupational health provision meets internationally recognised HSEQ standards.
