At RS Occupational Health, we believe that in health, prevention is better than cure. Based on this principle, we have designed an Executive Medical programme that is tailored towards early identification of health issues and health promotion.
Our Executive Medical health assessments are personalised so that you can get a detailed picture of your physical health as well as medical advice on the lifestyle changes you should make to maintain good health in the future.
All the Executive Medical health assessments include the following:
- A full medical history and lifestyle questionnaire.
- A 2-hour session with a trained professional.
- A 1-hour session with a doctor.
In the 3-hour session, apart from performing the basic medical assessments (blood pressure, body mass index, urinalysis, spirometry, audiogram, vision test), we will also assess your fitness (Chester Step test) and body composition analysis (lean body mass and fat percentage). Various blood tests are also performed (full blood count, kidney and liver function tests, glucose, lipid profile). We will also discuss the option of PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen), a test for early detection of prostate cancer. You will also complete a personal stress assessment as we believe mental well-being is just as important as physical well-being. We will also analyse your risk of developing cardiovascular disease based on your risk factors and suggest ways to reduce those risk.
A personalised medical report is provided for you following your assessment with our nurses and you will then see our doctors who will discuss the results with you and perform a full clinical examination. Our doctors will also take this opportunity to discuss specific health issues eg. Men’s health (testicular awareness, prostate cancer) and breast awareness for female clients. We can also arrange a mammogram to be performed if it is clinically indicated.
